The first zone we had on Saturday was Tomb of Thuuga. The fight on the Widow Mistress lasted only 7 minutes and we had no wipes. This was the first time to kill her as an alliance. The next area we went to that night was The Protectors Realm. We decided that we really needed some extra cash. We cleared the first four names and called the raid. This last week has been a week of changes for Exodus. As most of you know we are in the process of putting together our raid force and will be scheduling raids as well as “trash runs” to get people better equipped. Still need more people, especially healers. If you know someone, recruit them! I am also going to be attempting to get groups together on Saturdays around 9pm Eastern and again on Sundays around 1pm Eastern for runs into Kylong Plains, Fens, and Kunzar Jungle. We had a GREAT raid last night going to Kor Sha and Shard of Hate 4/27 - actually that is the most loot we have had on a raid since starting t8. Twelve people got some UBER lootz and we only had to transmute one item - Tytus got a Superhero Utility Belt (Is he Superman or Batman now?), hehe. We need to work on our dps a bit, but we are getting there and are improving all the time. I am thinking of offering dkp to the 'Best in Class' parse. Gnosht is going to be posting parses on the website and over a period of time - probably a month's worth of raids - there will be a 'Best Improvement' dkp awarded to the player of each class that has shown the most improvement in their parse. There will be no 'Best Attendance' dkp awarded because Shorti does not need any more dkp, lol. But the problem arose once he died; Korzak the Constructor spawned and just destroyed all of us in twenty-two seconds. From there we proceeded to the Antechamber of Fate and went after Chel'Drak the Ancient Lord. I want all our members to know that it is not just open recruitment here in Exodus - yes, we need specific classes, but the officers and I are working hard to invite good quality people to guild as well. We have talked to every one of the people we have invited to guild to make sure that they are good people that will help out the guild and not create too much drama (We already have Imogen for that ). We all want Exodus to succeed, thrive and progress where we have seen other guilds fall apart. With all the new people, the officers and I will be taking the time to group with and get to know everyone in guild and to make everyone feel welcome. But we will need you all to help us. If you see someone being greedy within the guild, overcharging guildies for services, or not paying guildies for services, spreading rumors or drama - please inform the leaders or officers about these instances. These things will not be tolerated and people will be booted from guild for causing trouble. We are a very relaxed family friendly (until Morianna logs in and says 'Welcome to Exodus After Hours") guild. We do have children play their toons in guild - mine in particular as well as others - I do not want to see inappropriate talk in guild chat when my children or anyone else's are playing.
